Switch Radio - Work Placement
May 2018 - July 2018

I undertook a work placement at Switch Radio which is a community radio station based in Castle Vale. I was able to produce radio shows, research new stories and present my own show.
Made in Birmingham TV - Work Placement
April 2017
I was able to do a five day work placement at Made in Birmingham TV. Whilst there I worked closely with the news team. My responsibilities included looking for news stories, help get content for the news and editing short videos for the news.
Aegon Birmingham Classic - Work Placement
June 2018 & June 2017
I was able to do a week work placement at the Aegon Classic which is a women’s tennis tournament held at Edgbaston Priory Club. I worked closely with the LTA media team. My responsibilities included registering photographers and journalists, assisting and showing photographers where to go, customer surveys and assisting with Press Conferences.

Big Centre TV

Big Centre TV is the local TV station for the West Midlands. Whilst there I was able to carry out many roles such as Runner, Floor Manager, Researcher, Director, Video Editor, Video Journalist, YouTube and Social Media Operator.
The Big Questions - Work Placement
May 2018 & Feb 2017
I was able to do a work placement on The Big Questions, which is a religious, moral and ethical debates show that is broadcast live on a Sunday morning on BBC One. I was able put up signs around the building so the guests knew where to go, I also got to greet and register guests at the registration desk and I got to stand in as part of the audience as some guests who dropped out.
